Middle School & Upper School Citation Resources
Students at Moorestown Friends School primarily use the MLA Format for citing works but sometimes you will need to use Turabian/Chicago for some types of sources; Science students may be required to use the APA format. While the formats require slightly different pieces of information the purpose is universal: to document your sources “to help readers identify and relocate your sources, …to provide evidence that your writing is well-researched, …and to give credit to the author of an original concept or theory,” image, and/or words.
